Before You Begin, we suggest applying Heat Protectant spray or serum to the hair to prevent heat damage.
Make sure the hair is completely dry before using the curling wand. You can air-dry, use a blow dryer or use Ilea’s Style Blow out Brush.
Set the curling wand to an appropriate temperature for your hair type. Lower temperatures work well for fine or damaged hair, while higher temperatures are suitable for thick or coarse hair.
Divide the hair into manageable sections using hair clips. This makes the curling process more efficient.
Take a small section of hair and use the clip holder on the curling wand to secure the end of the hair strand. Make sure the hair is evenly distributed on the wand for uniform curls.
Wrap the Hair Around the Wand. Hold the wand with the clip holder facing downwards.
Begin wrapping the hair around the wand away from your face, starting close to the root.
Do not touch the scalp!
Leave the ends of your hair outside the clip for a more natural look.
Hold the hair in place for about 8-10 seconds, depending on your hair type and the desired level of curl. Release the clip and gently slide the wand out, allowing the curl to set.
Continue working in small sections, repeating the process until all sections are curled. Be gentle and ensure the curling wand doesn't linger on one section for too long.
After completing the full head, check for any uneven areas or sections that may need a touch-up. Be cautious not to overdo it, as excessive heat can damage the hair.
Apply a small amount of Hair Serum or smoothing cream to add shine and reduce frizz.
Don’t leave it on! When you finish using your curling wand, press and hold the ON/OFF button to turn the unit off, unplug it, and allow it to cool before storing.
